The Costco Credit Card exchange rate is Visa’s exchange rate on the date you make an international purchase. Visa exchange rates change on a daily basis, and they update these rates each day on their website. While credit card exchange rates normally also include foreign transaction fees, the Costco Credit Card does not charge foreign fees.

Does Costco use foreign currency?

If you hold a Costco Visa card for either yourself or your business, the exchange rate used for foreign currency purchases will usually be set by the network — in this case, Visa.
